And ran 2.39 miles. I’m down from a 14 minute mile to a 12 minute mile. Hoping to get this down to a 10 minute mile before my 5k. I also came home to see two girls I follow had done some running as well—great motivation to see that as well as knowing I ran! See, tumblr can be helpful.
GD. Last week was not my week. I did great Monday thru Thursday, stayed under my calories, worked out every single day for 60 minutes. Friday things started to slip, starting with a company dinner for Josh. I didn’t over eat and chose healthy options but I get uneasy about not being able to use exact calorie intake. Saturday and Sunday I was traveling, working, and doing family dinners. Family dinners are hard, I control my portions but people (especially family) tend to get upset when you totally leave their food untouched. Sunday was the only day that I actually went over my calories but since this weekend my motivation to workout and my food intake was mediocre, I’m feeling uncomfortable in my skin this morning. I weigh in on Wednesday and I am hoping to stay with my consistent two pounds lost per week, this being week six. I know that’s going to require working extra hard and getting my motivation back up. I just hope I didn’t gain, that would be the worst thing. I’m hoping that since I was at least keeping track of portions that this weekend doesn’t effect me negatively.
how often do you work out/have any of you had similar experiences?
That if I take a break from working out, I’m so reluctant to get back into my routine. A break constitutes 2 or more days. I usually shoot for 6 days a week, with one day for rest. I haven’t worked out since Friday and it sounds like hell. I know at the end of it, I’ll remember when I love doing it six days a week.
