Vegan VS Paleo:
I am deciding between the two. Thoughts and opinions, health benefits, weight loss benefits, etc?

I do everything right. I do cardio, hot yoga, weight/strength training, zumba…I do everything. I eat clean (mostly), I count calories. I don’t eat back all of my workout calories and I cannot beat this plateau. I cannot get past 144. I am 5”7’, so this isn’t the most terrible number in the world especially since I have curvy hips but holy shit…I am just beyond frustrated. My goal is 135. I mean, my belly is flat, I don’t have lovehandles, whatever…but JUST, shit. I juiced for three days and got down to 140 then I have steadily made my way back up to 144 this morning. I did drink one liter of that beer that I posted last night (it was a gift) but I also did an hour of hot pilates, 30 minutes of cardio and 25 minutes of strength training yesterday so I allotted calories for that beer. So what I am wondering is…
A: Does my body (and mind) need a rest from losing weight for a while?
B: Is it possible this is just my weight? This is where my body wants to be?
I start my five day cleanse with Josh tomorrow. Who has juice recipes/tips they want to give me?
Do any of my fellow weight loss blogs have advice on eating/counting calories when sick?
Today while I was doing sprint interbals, I messed my knee up. When I walk it totally feels strained and painful. Does anyone/or any runners have any advice or idea of what might have happened?
It’s week 9 since I started this whole journey, for lack of better term. This week has been a really slow week and I’m not entirely sure why. I’m on my period so I’m wondering if that’s effecting it. I haven’t been over-eating, I’ve been exercising but I’ve only lost .8 of a pound. I’m trying not to be frustrated, but I’ve been staying pretty on track with losing two pounds a week (with the exception of one week that I totally binged on burritos galore, that week I gained but lost it all in a couple of days.) I’m starting half marathon training tomorrow morning (I decided to use Saturday as my rest day, my arms are KILLING me from boxing yesterday) for a marathon in the end of February.
Anywho, has anyone else noticed slowed weight loss effects on the week during your period even though you’ve stayed on track?
Hi, followers: I’m using you as a fashion consultant. Who wants to help me with ideas of what to wear with my new oxford heels? Maybe I’m hopeless. It’s even harder because a lot of my pants are too big for me right now. Help?
GD. Last week was not my week. I did great Monday thru Thursday, stayed under my calories, worked out every single day for 60 minutes. Friday things started to slip, starting with a company dinner for Josh. I didn’t over eat and chose healthy options but I get uneasy about not being able to use exact calorie intake. Saturday and Sunday I was traveling, working, and doing family dinners. Family dinners are hard, I control my portions but people (especially family) tend to get upset when you totally leave their food untouched. Sunday was the only day that I actually went over my calories but since this weekend my motivation to workout and my food intake was mediocre, I’m feeling uncomfortable in my skin this morning. I weigh in on Wednesday and I am hoping to stay with my consistent two pounds lost per week, this being week six. I know that’s going to require working extra hard and getting my motivation back up. I just hope I didn’t gain, that would be the worst thing. I’m hoping that since I was at least keeping track of portions that this weekend doesn’t effect me negatively.
how often do you work out/have any of you had similar experiences?
I don’t really feel like going to school anymore and looking for a real job. The real world e mailed me to come and try out on Saturday, so get ready for me to start my life as a reality star, guys. But seriously, what should I wear?
I have generally amazingly clear and even skin, but lately it’s been less than stellar; would sweating a lot from working out 6 days a week cause my skin to break out or has anyone else experienced this?
Sidenote: I ALWAYS wash my face right after working out, in the morning, and at night.
